Mindset: Maintaining Momentum On Busy Days

Sometimes our time runs away on those busy days. This blog talks about a day when this happened to me, but I maintained my Monday to Friday habit of going to the gym between 8-9am as this is my best slot which fits in to my energy cycle as well as the commitments I have for the rest of my day. I only managed to get a 30 minute slot for travel and gym, so I did 15 minutes with a 5 minute warm up and 2 decent sets of exercise / weights. Despite this being a mini-session, it was a real triumph for me to still get my gym session in. This maintains and nurtures my healthy habit, it keeps my body fit with quick 'spin of the plate' to keep my metabolism fired up and my muscles warmed up / working and I also feel really good about the fact that I made it happen. Lots of benefits to maintaining that momentum on physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
