Momentum: Development Journey Jigsaw Puzzle Analogy

An end of day reflection where I realised that the development journey is very much like doing a jigsaw. You start with building the edges of the jigsaw picture and search for pieces that go together. Sometimes this is easy and sometimes it's harder. You might get stuck, and then you need to be logical and consistent with searching for the missing piece, and eventually you find it. Over time, the image emerges and the way to complete it gets easier as the number of missing pieces become less and less. Finally at the end you have the full picture and the last few steps are quick and very satisfying. You've reached your goal - enjoy the moment. Then it's time to start the next one!
